An excellent complement to any astrophotographer's equipment, the adaptable Angeleyes 60mm aperture Guide Scope with an integrated helical focuser for accurate focussing of possible guide stars will help you capture higher-quality astrophotography.
To further enhance ease of use, the helical focuser simply slides the associated device inwards or outwards while keeping its orientation. This practical feature ensures that your field of prospective guiding stars will not rotate when focus is adjusted.
With an optional 1.25-inch eyepiece added, this adaptable Guide Scope can also be used as a straight-through finder scope on evenings when you don't intend to take astrophoto exposures.
To construct a 9.6x60 finder scope, for instance, attach a 25 mm eyepiece. Alternatively, insert a lit Centring Eyepiece to use as a finder with lit crosshairs for simple aim.
The focuser has an 8 mm exact helical focus travel, and if your specific autoguider device requires more back-travel, the telescoping drawtube housing can supply up to 35 mm of it.
There's no need for extension tubes because a compression ring fitting prevents scratches on any autoguider cameras or eyepieces that are inserted.
Male T-threads on the focuser collar of the Multi-Use Guide Scope with Helical Focuser are another feature that allows guide cameras with female T-threads to be securely threaded into place.
