DESCRIPTION
The GSO focuser collimation ring can be used with your 6, 8, 10 or 12 inch RC telescope to tilt the focuser and camera to make sure they are square and parallel to the focal plane. All of the field of view's stars are properly collimated and any little alignment issues with the focuser and baffle tube can be quickly fixed for better imaging performance. Adjustments to push/pull are quick and simple to make when they are required in the field.

When utilising your GSO Ritchey-Chretien telescope, the GSO RC6/8 or RC10/12 collimating rings help enhance image sharpness. The ring enables you to slightly alter the focuser's tilt so that it is parallel to the optical axis of the telescope. These adjustments are occasionally necessary to compensate for the focuser's slight and unwelcome tilt that is brought on by the focuser and rear cell threads of the telescope being machined to specific tolerances. This is crucial when using cameras with full-frame, bigger sensors for image.

The focuser/camera assembly and the back cell of your telescope are connected by the RC collimation ring. The ring is made up of two spring-loaded parts that include push-pull collimation screws that allow you to change the tilt degree before locking the position.
