Performance is fully constant with the finest fixed -focal length eyepieces. A whole range of imported eyepiece in this one zoom eyepiece combined. Actual magnification range will depend on the focal length of your telescope. It works equally well for astronomical or terrestrial viewing. . Rubber traction ring ensures a good grip. The 1.25" barrel is threaded for filters and rubber eyecup are standard
