Our story
A little about M/s Tejraj & Co.
TEJRAJ & CO was established in Mumbai as a small part-time business engaged in manufacturing precision astronomical telescopes - specially Newtonian telescopes - in April 1976.
Late Dr. Raju Patel had more than 40 years of experience in telescope designing and manufacturing, and was an observational astronomer and astrophotographer for 35 years.

1980-81
Solar Telescope / Solar Reflection System Coelostat
Unique piece technically designed, fabricated, and installed at Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai by Raju Patel solely in the year 1980-81.
Instruments we manufactured
Newtonian reflectors, achromatic refractors, Skyview and STARTRACKER systems, pier stands, and more from decades of workshop production in Mumbai.
