**Overview:**
The Meade 150 / 750 EQ is a versatile Newtonian reflector telescope that brings stunning clarity and performance within reach. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate astronomer, this telescope offers ample light-gathering power and precise optics at an accessible price point.
Wide-Aperture Optics
Boasting a 150 mm (6") primary mirror, this telescope captures **460 ×** the light visible to the naked eye—ideal for viewing faint deep-sky objects like the Ring and Dumbbell Nebulae and resolving rich stellar detail in globular clusters like M13.
Fast f/5 Focal Ratio
With a focal length of 750 mm, the fast f/5 setup offers a broad field of view and bright images, making it well-suited for astrophotography as well as visual observations.
Sharp, High-Contrast Imaging
Equipped with a diffraction-limited parabolic primary mirror and a thin spider vane design, this reflector delivers clean, high-contrast views with minimized optical aberrations.
Compact and Portable
Its compact tube design (approximately 66 cm in length, with a diameter of \~18–18.5 cm) ensures portability and stability—ideal for both quick setup and storage.
Accurate Tracking with EQ-3 Mount
Comes with a German equatorial EQ-3 mount featuring fine slow-motion controls for smooth and precise tracking—crucial for maintaining celestial objects in the field of view during observation or imaging.([Astro Telescopios.
Complete Accessory Set
Includes 1.25" Plössl eyepieces (23mm 62-Degree Aspheric Eyepiece and 10 mm Plossl Eyepiece for wide to high magnification), a 6 × 30 finder scope and essential tools like a 2inch focuser and accessory holder—so you're ready to explore right out of the box.
